5 Days Budget ANZAC Day Tour Itinerary:
Day 1 - Wednesday 21st April - Welcome to Istanbul
Welcome to Istanbul, where you will be met at the
airport and transferred to your hotel. Tonight, meet
your guide and the rest of your group.
Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 2 - Thursday 22nd April - Istanbul old
city
After breakfast, you enjoy a fully guided tour of
the only city to span two continents, visiting the Blue
Mosque, the Aya Sofya, Topkapi Palace and the Hippodrome.
Tonight don’t miss the optional Turkish Folklore evening.
Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 3 - Friday 23rd April - Istanbul to
Gallipoli
Depart for the Gallipoli peninsula early morning
and tour battlefield. Visit Anzac cove, Lone Pine
Australian Memorial, Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial
and war museum.
Check-in hotel in Canakkale.
Day 4 - Saturday 24th April -
Troy, Gallipoli battlefields tour
Morning to tour Troy and rest at hotel before
long night at Anzac cove. Drive to Battlefield for Dawn
service. we head for the site of the dawn service to get
a good spot.
Overnight at ANZAC Cove.
Day 5 - Sunday 25th April -
ANZAC Day at Gallipoli and return to Istanbul
Awake before sun rise to the ANZAC Dawn Service.
We become aware of the almost deafening silence as we
commemorate our fallen forefathers on this special day.
Also attend the Australian &/or New Zealand Memorial
services. After the services, we drive back to Istanbul.
